‘Tis the Season to Help the Community
Giving back to our community is a passion felt throughout the team at E.A. Langenfeld. As a company, it’s a priority for us to find creative ways to help others who are in need in our very own neighborhoods.
Operation Christmas Child
A few weeks ago, our Fort Wayne office picked up Operation Christmas Child, a Samaritan Purse Operation, shoeboxes to provide Christmas gifts for children ages 2-4, 5-9, and 10-14. Each box is created to deliver joy to children in need around the world!
Each team member shopped for items to fill their boxes ranging from toys to clothing, to school supplies, personal care items, and more. We were honored to thoughtfully fill 15 boxes to gift to children in need and contribute to Samaritan’s Purse’s initiatives. Since 1993, they have provided gifts for more than 209 million children in more than 170 countries and territories.
Toys for Tots
Our Mount Prospect team rallied together to participate in the Toys for Tots program, an initiative that collects new, unwrapped toys and distributes them to children who might not otherwise receive gifts during the holidays. Through overwhelming support, we were able to donate an incredible 75 toys to local children in need. These toys spanned a wide range, from educational games and dolls to action figures, puzzles and even a skateboard, ensuring there was something special for every child to cherish this holiday season.
Our hearts are filled with gratitude for the opportunity to spread joy and make a positive difference in the lives of local children around our office locations across the nation!
