Founded in 1960, E.A. Langenfeld Associates built its reputation serving the retail hardware channel.  Since then, Langenfeld has expanded into many other channels to provide sales, marketing and merchandising services.  We offer comprehensive sales and marketing support with corporate, national, store level, and international sales teams.  The company’s goal is to be a professional sales and marketing organization with a focus on influencing the touchpoint.  We understand that what happens at the store level or on the screen makes all the difference in driving sales and enriching the brands of our customers and clients.

EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT

Ron Burke

Becoming CEO in 2014 was a planned and natural transition to ready the company for the next generation of Leadership. Having spent the previous 24 years co-developing and implementing the strategic and tactical growth plans for E.A.Langenfeld Associates and TouchPoint 360. My role as CEO is to continue in the direction that we have set and to insure that we continue to meet the needs of our customers and clients as well as identify new areas where EALA can deliver new or improved value through innovative service products.

Steven Henley

Steven Henley has been serving retail customers in the Hardware Home Improvement industry for a long time.  Success is measured by the satisfaction our Customers and Clients enjoy while we build profitable business for both.  Steve’s background include plant operations, field management, customer service and sales leadership spanning 30 years.  Steve holds a BA from North Park University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.

Operations and Administrative Team

Renee Kaufman

Renee Kaufman is the Director of Sales Operations. In this role, Renee provides operational strategy and leadership and directly manages a cross-functional support team. Renee came to EAL through the July 2016 acquisition of Klatt-Jorwic & Associates (KJA) where she spent 10 years as their Director of Operations. Renee is also leading the operational integration of KJA into EAL. Prior to joining KJA Renee spent almost 10 years in the ground transportation industry with Boston Coach, A Fidelity Investments Company. She started out as the Fleet Clerk and worked her way up to become the Director of Operations for the Chicago branch which at its peak consisted of 90 vehicles and over 100 chauffeurs.Renee received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois- Chicago with a B.S. in Business Management. She then went on to get a dual graduate degree from the Keller Graduate School of Management (MBA and MHRM).

Ellen Scholl

Ellen Scholl is the Human Resources Administrator for both EA Langenfeld and Touchpoint 360.  Ellen obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, in Speech Communications.  She has been working in the field of Human Resources for over 25 years in a generalist capacity, and has been with our Company since 2009.  Ellen strives to make sure that all of our employees have the environment and support that they need to be successful and happy at E.A. Langenfeld & Associates.
